International Workshop – FLOATCON 2026

The LITEFLOATCON International Workshop 2026, themed “Light-Weight High Performance Concrete for Modular Floating Structures,” will be held on Friday, 21 August 2026, from 11:30 AM onwards (IST) at the Department of Civil Engineering, Mahindra University. The workshop is organised as part of the LITEFLOATCON project – Light-Weight High Performance Concrete for Modular Floating Structures, under the Horizon Europe – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Staff Exchanges, Grant Agreement No. 101129716, and is funded by the European Union. The event brings together leading researchers and experts from institutions across India, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Spain, Thailand, South Korea and Norway, with sessions covering lightweight high-performance concrete, post-industrial recycled plastics, fatigue of concrete, life-cycle assessment, advanced curing, seismic design, floating infrastructure, high-performance cementitious composites, carbonated recycled wastes and polymer-modified concrete. The workshop provides an international platform for technical knowledge exchange, research collaboration and advancement of sustainable, innovative and resilient solutions for modular floating structures.

ACEI Greater Mumbai Centre Webinar Series

The Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India) – Greater Mumbai Centre organised Topic 4 of its webinar series on “Advancement in Integrated Project Life Cycle Management for Buildings and Infrastructure Projects” on 29 August 2026.
